“If your player gets invited to a lot of invitationals, UMH-68 is the one you say yes to! This event is top-notch. Everything was perfectly timed and planned out—from the goalie session, fitness testing, speakers, and team practice to the games themselves. The uniforms were very high-end, and when I couldn’t be at the rink, I could watch the full game experience on YouTube with live commentary. As a goalie parent, I was especially impressed by the attention given to goalies. The special workshops and focused support were well above what we’ve seen at other events. It really felt like the goaltenders weren’t an afterthought—they were a priority. Max told me this was the most fun he’s ever had at an event. I couldn’t be more impressed by what this weekend delivered for our whole family. Huge kudos to the Podollan family and everyone involved. Max’s favorite part was the great competition and high-calibre shots. Everyone was skilled, the coaches and ambassadors were so friendly and supportive, and the kids were the same. The culture they’ve created made him feel confident, so he could play his best. I highly recommend taking this opportunity if it’s presented to you. Standing ovation to UMH-68.”

The Pro Treatment: Players walk into assigned locker rooms with personalized nameplates, fully stocked hydration, nutrition, and tape. They are treated like professionals, which elevates how they carry themselves. The Standards: The roster curation was excellent—families learned from each other and players left as friends. The hockey was serious: 3x20 minute periods with ice cuts. Plus, our family at home loved the professional broadcast with live announcers. The Development Edge: The off-ice workshops aren’t filler. They are compelling sessions on resilience that players actually use. The off-ice combines helped my son identify clear opportunities for physical improvement; he worked on them all summer and has shown a clear difference in burst, strength, and confidence this season.
